GLOBALMILES USER AGREEMENT

1. DEFINITIONS:

1.1 GLOBALMILES means a bank and airlines independent loyalty program which earns miles to the real persons who become members by way of downloading the mobile application or by entering the www.globalmiles.com/ web site through the merchants and OPERATOR who are integrated to the system.

1.2 GLOBALMILES APPLICATION / WEB SERVICE means a mobile application service developed by GLOBALMİLES ÖÜ and operated by GLOBALMİLES TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. which ensures its users, who can download the application to their devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) with Android and IOS operating system, earn miles at the GLOBALMILES merchants (shops, airline companies and electronic trading websites, etc.) and buy plane tickets, products or services using these miles at a certain rate as determined at www.globalmiles.com website by matching the users’ contact information with their personal/non-personal information;

1.3 MEMBER(S): means the real person(s) who becomes a member of GLOBALMILES by accepting the Conditions of Use of GLOBALMILES;

1.4 OPERATOR: means GLOBALMİLES TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. which will manage the GLOBALMILES brand and program rights for the period and under the conditions based on the agreement;

1.5 MERCHANTS: means all real and legal persons (stores, airline companies and electronic trading systems, etc.) who have signed the “Program Participation Contract” with the Operator of GLOBALMILES in order to earn the MEMBERS of the GLOBALMILES;

1.6 AIRLINE COMPANY: means the airline company which the MEMBERS use for buying their flight tickets, which information they share with the OPERATOR in order to earn miles under the program;

1.7 CONTRACTED AIRLINE: means all airline companies which have signed PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT with the OPERATOR;

1.8 SHOPPING: means all spending via the Merchants;

1.9 SHARING OF FLIGHT INFORMATION: means the sharing with GLOBALMILES of the information on the flight the MEMBER has made at the airline company by using the ticket he has bought against the reward or with the ticket he has bought;

1.10 FLIGHT: means any and all flight transaction, scheduled or non-scheduled, of the MEMBER via the contracted airline companies;

1.11 PROGRAM RULES: means the whole of the various conditions for the MEMBERS’ earning and spending Miles via the Globalmiles program, and the general terms and practices of the Globalmiles;

1.12 MILE: means the reward points provided to the Members by the Merchants or the Operator against their filling of the survey and providing the shopping and flight feedback in line with the principles laid down by the Operator within the scope of the GLOBALMILES program;

1.13 WELCOME MILE: means the entire miles the User earns during his registration to the system;

1.14 CAMPAIGN MILE: means the miles with a certain duration;

1.15 STATUS MILE: means the miles to be earned from the Merchants at the rate to be determined by the OPERATOR and the scoring system which ensures transition from one status card to the other (a certain rate of the miles earned during the shopping, flight or feedback may be earned as status mile);

1.16 GLOBALMILES TERMINALS: means the POS machine provided to the MERCHANT by the OPERATOR or the NEW GENERATION CASH REGISTERS owned by the MERCHANTS having a contract with the GLOBALMILES, and similar devices used for the purpose of earning miles to the MERCHANTS based on the agreement between the OPERATOR and the MERCHANT;

1.17 SURVEY: means the questions prepared by the OPERATOR or the MERCHANT to enable the MERCHANT assess the product, commodity or service the MEMBER has bought as a result of the transaction realized based on the shopping, flight and the FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING with the OPERATOR;

1.18 MILE PACKAGE: means the packages providing the number of miles purchased by the MERCHANT for distribution to the MEMBERS through the OPERATOR;

1.19 WEB SITE: means the website www.globalmiles.com owned by GLOBALMILES where the names of the Merchants, program rules, mile earning, mile spending, as well as all campaigns are published;

1.20 GLOBALMILES STATUS CARDS: mean all plastic cards and virtual cards to be given by the Operator which will provide certain privileges to the MEMBERS considering the time and total number of miles to be earned based on the Members’ flights and shopping.

The above-described terms used in the “GLOBALMILES Use Conditions” may be changed with different terms as a result of the improvements and amendments to be made by the OPERATOR any time. The terms to be thus changed will continue having the same meaning as provided above in principle.

2 CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

2.1. The MEMBER hereby agrees, declares and undertakes that by becoming a member to the GLOBALMILES, it has read all of the “GLOBALMILES Use Conditions”, understood and approved all conditions, and it will act in accordance with the rules to be announced regarding the GLOBALMILES membership and the Services to be provided under this membership.

2.2. The MEMBER declares and undertakes that this user agreement and the rules of the program may be changed by the OPERATOR with 15 days’ notice, and that it will accept all changes to be thus entered. Where the MEMBER declines to accept these changes, it will be free to unilaterally terminate his membership without any encumbrance on his part by serving a termination notice to the OPERATOR.

2.3. The MEMBER needs to download the GLOBALMILES application in order to benefit from the possibilities offered by the OPERATOR and MERCHANTS, and enter all codes and passwords to be sent to him by the OPERATOR. To complete all procedures completely and accurately, the Member should have the wire-wireless and/or mobile data and/or SMS communication of the Application and their smart devices open, also have the location services open in order to make CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT at the airports under their mile acquisitions, and additionally the camera of their devices should also be in good and working condition to achieve mile acquisition through scanning their QR and/or barcode. GLOBALMILES assumes no liability in the case of a Member’s failure to earn a mile and benefit from all other campaigns due to a problem in the above-stated subjects, etc. The MEMBER may by no means have any subsequent claims due to such failure.

2.4. When the MEMBER uses the methods laid down by GLOBALMILES, the Member’s personal information needed for membership, shopping information, reservation information, website and navigation information obtained during his use of the mobile application, the surveys the Member participates and location data are transferred to and processed by GLOBALMILES as a requirement of the system for the designation and communication to the Member of the content, campaigns, material and immaterial benefits exclusive for the Member. In order for the MEMBER to be informed about and receive the benefits offered by the MERCHANTS to the MEMBERS, it is compulsory that the the MEMBER’s shopping and personal information be sent by the MERCHANTS to the GLOBALMILES and that this information be processed by GLOBALMILES. The MEMBER hereby agrees, declares and undertakes that it consents to such sharing of information.

2.5. If and when the GSM number provided by the MEMBER during the initial installation of the GLOBALMILES Mobile Application is subsequently cancelled or changed, the rights-benefits acquired by the MEMBER until that date may be terminated. The MEMBER needs to inform the OPERATOR in writing of any change in his GSM number. Whether the existing mile and other rights of the MEMBER will survive with the new GSM number will be subject to the assessment of the OPERATOR. The main consideration here will be whether or not the GSM number has been a GLOBALMILES member before. It is not possible to merge or interchange change two memberships which were enacted with two separate GSM numbers.

3. ACQUISITION OF MILES

3.1 The MEMBERS will get miles under conditions determined/to be determined by the MERCHANTS and the OPERATOR based on their shopping from the MERCHANTS in the GLOBALMILES program and from the OPERATOR, flight feedback, flight and all transactions as will be laid down in the future.

3.2. Giving miles to the Member by the Operator based on the FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING does not mean under any conditions that this mile has been given by the airline company. By accepting the provisions of this Agreement, the Members agree, declare and undertake that no airline company can be held accountable for the miles given and/or not given by the Operator and that the Operator is solely responsible for all the miles provided under the FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING.

3.3. Where a PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP agreement exists/to exist between the GLOBALMILES and the airline company/companies, the miles to be given according to the standard set forth by the airline company/companies will be shown SEPARATELY as miles given by the MERCHANTS.

3.4. The amount or rate of miles to be earned, and the period and products they cover will be determined by the MERCHANT and/or OPERATOR that offers the campaign.

3.5. The conditions for earning miles will be determined by the relevant MERCHANT in consideration of time, product and relevant point of sale.

3.6. STATUS MILES will be shown in a separate chapter in practice while the amount of the STATUS MILES within the total current miles earned is determined solely by the OPERATOR. The amount of miles to be earned from each MERCHANT and the amount of status miles within these miles will be announced both during the practice and in the WEBSITE. Where this information does not exist in the provided channels by whatsoever reason, it means that %10 of all the miles earned from program partners and non contracted airline companies are the STATUS miles. The MEMBER is obliged to request this information in writing from the OPERATOR before he concludes the shopping. If and when the Member does shopping, makes FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING and takes a FLIGHT without first learning this information; the amount of miles to be earned and the amount of the status miles within these miles is entirely within the discretion of the OPERATOR, and the MEMBER agrees and declares that he will not raise any objections for this.

3.7. The miles which the MEMBER will earn from a flight is divided into two.

A) The miles earned through the OPERATOR based on the FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING.

This takes place as follows;

  • - The MEMBER clicks on + (add) symbol under the headline Earn Miles as You Fly at the IOS or ANDROID application.

  • - The MEMBER then fills in the MILE PROCESSING form to be seen in the screen by entering the Information about his flight yet to be made, the date of this flight, departure and the destination airports, the airline company and the flight reservation number (PNR) in complete and clicks on the CREATE FLIGHT INFORMATION button.

  • - In order to complete the mile earning procedure, the Member, once he arrives at the departure airport on the date of the flight, should click on the flight he previously established at the MEMBER – EARN MILES AS YOU FLY chapter and provide feedback to OPERATOR by clicking on the CHECK-IN button at that page.

  • - Similarly, the MEMBER provides feedback at the destination airport, too, by selecting his flight at the EARN AS YOU FLY chapter again and this time clicking on the CHECK-OUT button at that page.

  • - In both cases, the MEMBER should have the location service of his mobile device open and should be located at not more than 5 km away from the departure airport during the CHECK-IN and from the departure airport during the CHECK-OUT.

  • - The MEMBER earns miles following the control of his information and the feedback he provides as explained above based on his card status.

  • - FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING of the MEMBER and the amount of miles he will earn from the FLIGHT is calculated instantly. Starting from the moment the MEMBER clicks on CREATE FLIGHT INFORMATION button, this information will be present at The Mile to be Processed information located at the CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT pages.

  • - The MEMBER will be free to delete the flight information if he is not satisfied with the amount of miles to be processed or if he decides to abandon this report. However, once the MEMBER completes and enters the CHECK-IN procedure, this information cannot be deleted.

  • - The amount of miles to be processed will be loaded to the Member’s account if and when the information provided by the Member is confirmed and if the Member makes the CHECK-IN and CHECKOUT properly at the departure and destination airports, respectively, on the date of the flight. The amount of MILES TO BE PROCESSED indicates the total amount of miles to be given to the total of the Create Flight Information procedure, CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT transactions, and it does not mean that the amount shown will be given to each of these procedures separately.

  • - The MEMBER agrees in advance that OPERATOR is entitled to decline to give the shown miles partly or entirely if and when the MEMBER does not enter the subject information totally and correctly.

  • - The MEMBER agrees that he will not be entitled to receive any miles if he enters wrong PNR information, and if there is a contradiction between the FLIGHT DETAILS and MEMBERSHIP information at his PNR number.

B) The mile earned from the flight via the CONTRACTED AIRLINE COMPANY

Unless otherwise provided, the miles earned via the CONTRACTED AIRLINE COMPANY is calculated the same as in the mile acquisition in A. FLIGHT INFORMATION SHARING above.

3.8. As a general rule regarding the miles earned through spending, a spending with the sum of TL 1 accounts to the amount of miles determined by the MERCHANTS.

Mile acquisition coefficient, amount, conditions and term are determined by the relevant MERCHANT with the approval of the OPERATOR; different amounts and coefficient of miles can be earned from different transactions, but there may also be transactions which do not earn any miles. Mile earning may vary among the Members too.

For example, while MEMBER X earns 1 mile for his spending of TL 1 from a Merchant, MEMBER Y may earn 3 miles for his spending of TL 3 from a MERCHANT. The amount of miles earned from the MERCHANTS may be fixed; but some may vary depending on the month, week, day, and even the hour of the relevant spending. Similarly, the mile acquisition coefficient to be earned for a transaction may also vary depending on some factors including the location of the shopping and the products purchased.

3.9. In order to earn miles from a SHOPPING;

  • The MEMBER may first see the MERCHANTS which are active and which have MILE PACKAGE OVER Globalmiles.com OR over mobile application.

  • The MEMBER should confirm prior to his shopping whether the MERCHANT has the mile acquisition coefficient proper for the MEMBER and active MILE PACKAGE PROGRAM. GLOBALMILES by no means provides to the MEMBER any guarantee on acquisition of miles from all MERCHANTS.

  • The MEMBER should fist declare his membership to the GLOBALMILES and inquire whether the GLOBALMILES TERMINAL works actively.

  • In the light of this information and before the completion of his payment user has the give the code to the merchant that is generated with globalmiles application in the shopping transaction, the Member scans the barcode or QR code to be provided by the GLOBALMILES TERMINALS or on the financial shopping receipt at his IOS or ANDROID application by clicking on “I am ready” button at the EARN MILES AS YOU SPEND page.

  • To do this, the application needs to be given permission to use the camera.

  • - The MEMBER can register his spending by scanning the barcode or QR code within 10 minutes. MEMBER has to keep the original receipt until the miles transaction done.

3.10. The MEMBER hereby accepts that he may not earn any miles if he fails to scan his barcode or QR code within 10 minutes after his shopping transaction for reasons stemming from himself (forgetting, mobile phone’s communication problem, outage of the mobile phone’s charge, any and all technical problems, etc.)

3.11. OPERATOR will assume no responsibility for the miles which the MEMBER should have earned due to his shopping but were not recorded to the MEMBER’s account due to technical reasons or other reasons caused by the MERCHANTS. However, OPERATOR will show maximum efforts to have the miles recorded in the MEMBER’s account.

3.12. Provision of information regarding the acquisition of mile through mobile application, e-mail, SMS and/or communication channels is at the discretion of OPERATOR .

3.13. The miles earned are automatically transfered by OPERATOR onto the account of the MEMBER after a certain time following the scanning of the barcode or QR produced by GLOBALMILES TERMINALS upon the submission/declaration of the membership at the MERCHANTS (after the confirmation by the contracted terminals and networks).

3.14. All miles earned can be traced by using the application.

3.15. OPERATOR does not offer any guarantee of mile acquisition to the MEMBER at all MERCHANTS that have signed the PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP agreement. Prior to the spending or the flight, the MEMBER is obliged to confirm before entering a transaction how many miles he will earn with the subject transaction. After the spending or transaction is concluded, the MEMBER cannot hold OPERATOR accountable for failure of earning miles or earning less miles than he expected.

3.16. Where the shopping transaction subject to the earning of mile is completed without submitting the membership and/or at terminals other than the GLOBAMILES TERMINALS, the subject transaction is not subject to the mile acquisition. In other words, mile acquisition does not take place at the Member’s account after the shopping.

3.17. The MEMBER agrees and declares that it will not hold the GLOBAL MILES and the OPERATOR accountable for its failure to earn any miles or earning less miles than he expected on grounds that the subject MERCHANT has not signed the PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP agreement with the OPERATOR or because the MERCHANT does not have an active mile package although it signed the agreement.

3.18. GLOBALMILES and OPERATOR has got no responsibility regarding the miles which are normally expected to be earned for flight information sharing, shopping, flight and feedback but fail to be recorded to the MEMBER’s account due to technical reasons and/or due to reasons stemming from the MERCHANTS. However, GLOBALMILES and OPERATOR will show maximum efforts for ensuring that the GLOBALMILES miles are recorded.

4. VALIDITY PERIOD OF MILES

With the exception of the welcome miles and CAMPAIGN miles, the miles earned are not deleted completely but lose some of their value at the end of each calendar year. The miles lose 20% (twenty percent) of their value on the last day of the calendar year they are earned. Example: 100 miles earned during 2016 can be spent as 100 miles until 31.12.2016. These miles can be spent as 80 miles in 2017. And they will fall to 64 miles if they are spent in 2018.

5. VALIDITY PERIOD OF CAMPAIGN MILES

The OPERATOR may at any time set forth much shorter validity periods for some miles; the campaigns for additional miles provide expressions regarding the validity period of miles. The campaign miles which are not used until the end of their validity periods are deleted and cannot be used again.

6 RETURN OF MILES

6.1. The cancellation of all transactions by the MEMBER subsequently and/or cancellation of these transactions subsequently for whatsoever means, the miles earned from these transactions will also be cancelled. If there is not sufficient mile in the account of the MEMBER, the account of the MEMBER will be shown as negative balance. On the other hand, during the return of cash to be made to the MEMBER due to the cancellation of a transaction, the MERCHANT will deduct the monetary value of the relevant MILES while only the outstanding amount will be paid to the MEMBER in consideration with the working principles of the MERCHANT and the character of the transaction between the MEMBER and the MERCHANT.

6.2. The return to be made by the MERCHANT will be made by using the username and the password provided to it by the GLOBALMILES system.

7 SPENDING THE MILES;

A Reward may be bought by using the miles earned. The price of the reward tickets in miles is provided in the section named REWARD TICKET. Ticketing can be made over the website www.globalmiles.com and/or the phone number 0850 302 88 33, GLOBALMİLES’ call center.

8 Transfer-Assignment of MILES

As a general rule, the miles earned can be used only by the MEMBER. When the OPERATOR adopts a feature that makes the transfer and assignment of miles possible in the future, the MEMBERS will be able to transfer their miles partly or entirely to another GLOBALMILES MEMBER.

9 TERMINATION OF MILES:

9.1. The miles may be terminated immediately upon the realization of the following causes other than the validity and validity period. The miles become void, cannot be used, and the MEMBER cannot raise any requests for miles from the OPERATOR

- Nullification of the transaction that earns MILE for whatsoever reason,

- Concluding at any time that the MILES have been earned by unjust means (by actions which do not comply with the general and special conditions or by actions that are fit for the principles of goodwill),

- Cancellation or change o the GSM number provided by the User at the start of the GLOBALMILES Application,

- Failure to install the application to the same or another device according to the procedures if and when the GLOBALMILES Application is removed from the smart device under the same GSM number,

- Death of the MEMBER

- Failure to use the personal information of the MEMBER or failure to establish contact with him or his application to have his personal information deleted from the system,

- Termination of the User Agreement by the MEMBER or the OPERATOR at any time for whatsoever means or termination of the User Agreement in accordance with the relevant provisions,

9.2. The OPERATOR reserves its rights against the MEMBER who earns or uses unjust miles.

9.3. If any suspicious activity is observed in the process of the acquisition of miles and transformation of these miles into plane ticket, OPERATOR is entitled to nullify the miles of the MEMBER, and freeze or cancel his membership. In such a situation, OPERATOR will be entitled to recourse to all legal procedures about the MEMBER, and the MEMBER will be responsible for all possible damages. Additionally, the MEMBER will lose all his rights he has earned by his membership until that date such as MILES, STATUS MILES, STATUS CARDS, ETC.

10. GLOBALMILES MEMBERSHIP AND TYPES OF THE CARDS:

The first members of the application will have Globalmiles RED membership status. No card is sent to the members with RED status. Cards are sent to the members with Silver, Gold, Platin and Diamond status.

Membership statuses, card types and advantages offered by these cards are as follows:

10.1. GLOBALMILES RED MEMBERSHIP

Everybody joining the Global Miles program will start enjoying the privileges of the RED membership from the very start.

a) Earning Miles

  • The Members will earn miles for their domestic flights in Turkey. They will earn miles from the airline companies having contract with OPERATOR on a limitless basis, and from 2 flights in a month and 3 flights in total from each airline company that has no contract with OPERATOR. From non-contracted airlines, members can only earn miles of their 36 flights in total.

  • The Members will earn miles from all Global Miles merchants by using the apple and android application they will download from the merchants in accordance with the principles laid down by such merchants.

b) Spending Miles

  • They will have the opportunity to use their miles in buying tickets from all airline companies or exchange their miles to another FFP/loyalty programs.

c) Upgrade to an Upper Card Status


  • To pass to an upper card level, the owners of the Red membership holders are required to earn at least 25000 status miles in 12 month period.

10.2. GLOBALMILES SILVER MEMBERSHIP

The MEMBERS who have Global Miles RED membership and collect 25000 status miles in 12 months will start enjoying the privileges of Silver membership.

a) Earning Miles

  • The Members will earn miles for their domestic flights in Turkey. They will earn miles from the airline companies having contract with OPERATOR on a limitless basis, and from 3 flights in a month and 5 flights in total from each airline company that has no contract with OPERATOR. From non-contracted airlines, members can only earn miles of their 60 flights in total.

  • The Members will earn miles from all GlobalMiles merchants by using the apple and android application they will download from the merchants in accordance with the principles laid down by such merchants.

  • The Members will earn %10 percent more miles from their shopping from all Merchants.

b) Spending Miles

  • They will have the opportunity to use their miles in buying tickets from all airline companies or exchange their miles to another FFP/loyalty programs.

c) Maintaining the Card Level

  • The Members who switch to Silver Membership maintain their status if they earn 20,000 status miles in the first year, or a total of 30,000 status miles in the first two years starting from the date of their transition to Silver Membership. Otherwise, their status turns back to Red level.

d) Upgrade to an Upper Card Status

  • To pass to the Gold Membership, the Silver membership holders are required to earn at least 50,000 status miles status miles in 12 month period.

e) Other Advantages

  • The Silver Membership holders benefit from all Prime Class Lounges, Comfort lounges or LGM lounges in Turkey free of charge up to 6 times a year.

  • They benefit free transfers at the airports 4 times a year.

10.3. GLOBALMILES GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Global Miles SILVER members who collect 50,000 Status Miles within the last 12 months start benefitting from the privileges of Gold membership.

a) Earning Miles

  • The Members will earn miles for their domestic flights in Turkey. They will earn miles from the airline companies having contract with OPERATOR on a limitless basis, and from 5 flights in a month and 7 flights in total from each airline company that has no contract with OPERATOR. From non-contracted airlines, members can only earn miles of their 84 flights in total.

  • The Members will earn miles from all GlobalMiles merchants by using the apple and android application they will download from the merchants in accordance with the principles laid down by such merchants

  • The Members will earn %15 percent more miles from their shopping from all Merchants

b) Spending Miles

  • They will have the opportunity to use their miles in buying tickets from all airline companies or exchange their miles to another FFP/loyalty programs.

c) Maintaining the Card Level

  • The Members who switch to Gold Membership maintain their status if they earn 35,000 status miles in the first year, or a total of 60,000 status miles in the first two years starting from the date of their upgrade to Gold Membership. Otherwise, their status turns back to Silver level.

d) Upgrade to an Upper Card Level

  • To pass to the Platinum Membership, the Gold membership holders are required to earn at least 75,000 status miles status miles in 12 month period.

e) Other Advantages

  • The Gold Membership holders benefit from all Prime Class Lounges, Comfort lounges or LGM lounges in Turkey free of charge up to 12 times a year.

  • They benefit free transfers at the airports 8 times a year.

  • They enjoy free car park at all contracted car parks in Turkey for 15 days a year.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for 2 times a year in domestic flights.

10.4. GLOBALMILES PLATIN MEMBERSHIP

Global Miles GOLD members who collect 75,000 Status Miles within the last 12 months start benefitting from the privileges of Platinum membership.

a) Earning Miles

  • The Members will earn miles for their domestic flights in Turkey. They will earn miles from the airline companies having contract with OPERATOR on a limitless basis, and from 5 flights in a month and 7 flights in total from each airline company that has no contract with OPERATOR. From non-contracted airlines, members can only earn miles of their 84 flights per year

  • The Members will earn miles from all GlobalMiles merchants by using the apple and android application they will download from the merchants in accordance with the principles laid down by such merchants.

  • The Members will earn %25 percent more miles from their shopping from all Merchants.

b) Spending Miles

  • They will have the opportunity to use their miles in buying tickets from all airline companies or exchange their miles to another FFP/loyalty programs.

c) Maintaining the Card Level

  • The Members who switch to Platinum Membership maintain their status if they earn 60,000 status miles in the first year, or a total of 100,000 status miles in the first two years starting from the date of their upgrade to Gold Membership. Otherwise, their status turns back to Gold level.

d) Upgrade to an Upper Card Level

  • To pass to the Diamond Membership, the Platinum membership holders are required to earn at least 500,000 status miles in 12 month period.

e) Other Advantages

  • The Platinum Membership holders benefit from all Prime Class lounges, Comfort lounges or LGM lounges in Turkey free of charge up to 24 times a year.

  • They benefit free transfers at the airports 12 times a year.

  • They enjoy free car park at all contracted car parks in Turkey for 20 days a year.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for 3 times a year in domestic flights.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for one time a year in flights to Europe.

  • They are given two economy class domestic flight tickets a year without using their miles.

10.5. GLOBALMILES DIAMOND MEMBERSHIP

Global Miles Platinum members who collect 500,000 Status Miles within the last 12 months start benefiting from the privileges of the Diamond membership.

a) Earning Miles

The Members will earn miles from their domestic flights in Turkey. They will earn miles both from the airline companies having contract with Globalmiles and from the airline companies having no contract with the GLOBALMILES on a limitless basis.

  • The Members will earn miles from all GlobalMiles merchants by using the apple and android application they will download from the merchants in accordance with the principles laid down by such merchants.

  • The Members will earn %25 percent more miles from their shopping from all Merchants.

b) Spending Miles

  • They will have the opportunity to use their miles in buying tickets from all airline companies or exchange their miles to another FFP/loyalty programs.

c) Maintaining the Card Level

  • The Members who switch to Diamond Membership maintain their status if they earn 35,000 status miles in the first year, or a total of 600,000 status miles in the first two years starting from the date of their upgrade to Gold Membership. Otherwise, their status turns back to Platinum level.

d) Other Advantages

  • The Platinum Membership holders benefit from all lounges world wide free of charge on a limitless basis.

  • They benefit free transfers at the airports 24 times a year.

  • They enjoy free car park at all contracted car parks world wide for 30 days a year.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for 5 times a year in domestic flights.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for three times a year in flights to Europe.

  • They acquire Business Upgrade rights for one time a year in flights to the United States or the Far East.

  • They are given five economy class domestic flight tickets a year without using their miles.

  • They are given two economy class flight tickets to Europe a year without using their miles.

  • They are given one economy class flight ticket a year to the United States or the Far East without using their miles.

11. DATA SHARING

By agreeing with the GLOBALMILES Use Conditions and the “Privacy/Personal İnformation Protection and Communication Policy”, you hereby consent to the collection, storage, processing, usage and transfer of your personal information which you have shared completely with your free will for the purpose of offering you various advantages and communicating specific advertisement, sale, marketing, survey, reservation advantages to you via any and all types of electronic mails and similar other mails. For attaining the purposes listed in the previous sentence, this personal information of yours will also be shared with the OPERATOR, all subsidiaries and affiliates of the OPERATOR, and the domestic and/or international third parties with whom we have contractual relationship. Besides, you also hereby consent to the sharing of your personal information and your shopping, flight information sharing, flight, survey and all transactions made by you – based on as-needed basis – with our merchants. Our merchants will also share your shopping information following your becoming a member with the OPERATOR. Other than these, we will share your personal information with the third parties with whom we have contractual relationship and who are legally and technically bound by the same data protection and security rules as we are only on as-needed basis and for the purpose of offering the services in the best possible way, healthy delivery of your possible purchases, and transmission of our communication to you via telephone, SMS and/or e-mail.

By agreeing with the GLOBALMILES Use Conditions with the capacity as a Member, you also consent to the processing by the electronic communication operator, of your location information which you will share with the GLOBALMILES based on the legal relationship between the GLOBALMILES and the electronic communication operator for the purpose of offering various advantages and for establishing communication with you for special advertisement, sale, marketing, survey and similar other purposes. You will also approve the delivery of SMS, e-mail, etc. for promotional purposes.

12. TERM OF THE CONTRACT

12.1. This Use Agreement is enacted for an indefinite term and stays in effect until its termination according to the termination clauses described in the Contract and also until its termination based on the following clauses.

13. RIGHT TO TRANSFER

The owners of the GLOBALMILES trademark reserve the right to transfer the operation of the Loyalty Program to third persons and transfer the Agreement with the Member to these companies. In the event that the owners of the GLOBALMILES trademark transfer this Agreement to third persons together with all rights and obligations, the MEMBER hereby agrees and undertakes that this Agreement will continue with the changed legal entity, the newly established partnership, and the third person which overtook the Agreement.

14. DISPUTE SETTLEMENT

The records (computer-audio records as well as records in the magnetic media) of the OPERATOR and the relevant service providers and the MERCHANTS will establish final evidence in the settlement of any and all disputed arising out of or in relation with this Agreement. The rights of the parties arising out of the mandatory laws are reserved.

The MEMBER who signs this Agreement is deemed to have agreed and declared that he has read and understood all terms and conditions provided in the User Agreement, that he will comply with all obligations completely and in time, that he consents with the recoding, use, sharing and processing by other means within the scope and under conditions as specified by the relevant laws and regulations his personal and/or non-personal information he himself discloses or learned from the OPERATOR or the MERCHANTS as well as the business partners, investors and service providers thereof, that commercial and noncommercial electronic communication can be established with him, and that he could benefit from all features (including possibilities) as provided by GLOBALMILES Mobile Application in accordance with the Notices-User Agreement.
